This map was designed to invite you into the ecological and emotional landscapes of Laura Misch’s new album Sample the Sky, on which each song is rooted in a place in South East London. Inspired by feminist land art and counter cartography, we created land artworks in each location, which feature as symbols for each song on one side of the map. On the other, they feature as cloud cut-outs, through which you peek down onto South East London. Find where each song is located on the map side, and corresponding lyrics, artwork and invitations on the other. We invite you to listen in situ if you are in London, or find your own spaces if you are not. You can also tag your location and share images and thoughts on the participatory map.
